Soundair Aftermarket Group, LLC specializes in the distribution of aircraft rotables, avionics and instruments, engines and APU’s, landing gear, flight control surfaces and doors, and interiors.  In addition to owning and managing extensive inventories in support of the full range of Boeing (including Douglas Products Division) and Airbus airframes, Soundair found a niche in the disassembly of a group of commercial aircraft including 727s, 737s, 747’s, 767’s and DC9s.  These related activities have made Soundair an industry leader in the support of aftermarket activities resulting in long-term business relationships with major leasing companies, operators & MRO facilities.

Soundair Repair Group, LLC, Acquired in 1993, specializes in the repair, overhaul, rebuild, and inventory management of commercial jet transport flight deck windows.  The galley products department specializes in coffee makers, ovens, and other inserts staffed by OEM trained technicians.  The lavatory  products department provides support for both re-circulating and new generation vacuum toilets, lavatory heaters, and faucet assemblies.  The accessory department provides coverage for a host aircraft interior and exterior lighting components, battery chargers, water tanks and megaphones.

Soundair Design and Development Group, LLC is currently developing a number of PMA parts related to galley insert components including coffee makers and ovens. Also under development are STC’s for hybrid galley inserts which will incorporate all of the proven improvements achieved through the detail part PMA process. Other component groups are also under consideration for STC where opportunities are presented by our operator / customers

Aim Specialty Coatings, LLC was acquired in 2007 to allow Soundair to diversify into the automotive, industrial, and marine markets.  Aim offers a high-tech approach to the coatings industry by using the same tools and resources used to build our commercial aviation support businesses.  The materials used for coating have exceptional physical characteristics when properly applied and allow for complete seamless encapsulation of many products and surfaces.  AIM’s products seal out the harshest of environments and can bond to almost any substrate including hatch covers, aluminum skiffs, aluminum sleds, galley floors, non-skid and high traffic areas.
